Say It (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our iOS application collects, uses, and safeguards your information.

Say It stores the following data locally on your device only:
- Your affirmation completion history and streak data
- Points and achievement progress
- Unlocked affirmations
- App settings and preferences
Important: This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers or any third parties.
Voice Data
When you speak affirmations aloud for verification:
- Voice recordings are processed entirely on your device
- Voice data is used only to verify completion of affirmations
- Voice recordings are not saved, stored, or transmitted anywhere
- No voice data is collected, analyzed, or shared with any third party
Push Notifications
If you enable notifications:
- We use Expo Push Notification Service to deliver streak reminders and motivational messages
- A device token is generated to enable notification delivery
- We do not collect or store personal information through notifications
- You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings
Analytics and Diagnostics
Currently, Say It does not collect analytics, crash reports, or diagnostic data. We may add basic analytics in future updates to improve the app experience, and will update this policy accordingly.
We do not collect:
- Personal identification information (name, email, phone number, etc.)
- Location data
- Contact lists
- Photos or media from your device
- Browsing history or activity in other apps
- Payment information (if in-app purchases are added, Apple handles all payment processing)
Since all data is stored locally on your device:
- We use your locally-stored data solely to provide app functionality (tracking streaks, progress, and achievements)
- We do not access, analyze, or use your data for any other purpose
- We do not share your data with third parties
Data Storage and Security
- All app data is stored locally on your device using secure iOS storage mechanisms
- Your data remains under your control
- If you delete the app, all locally stored data is permanently removed from your device
- We do not maintain backups of your data on external servers

- Processes device tokens for notification delivery

Children’s Privacy
Say It does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app is designed for general audiences and stores all data locally on the device. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, please contact us.

- Delete all app data by uninstalling the app
- Contact us with privacy questions or concerns
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:
- Posting the new Privacy Policy in the app
- Updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this policy
Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
Data Deletion
To delete all your data:
- Simply uninstall the Say It app from your device
- All locally stored data will be permanently removed
Since we do not collect or store data on external servers, uninstalling the app completely removes all associated data.
